I am a filmmaker who set up a non-profit in 2002. It was a personal loss due to cancer that made me make a series of films on cancer. And as I got deeper into the subject I felt the need to do more hence came the non-profit – Cancer Foundation of India. I strongly believe that as filmmakers we have an inherent capacity to bring about a change. Our skills of communication can make that difference which many cannot put together. Hope more and more of us come together and use media for social change. Change for the better.
